This evening was pivotal, as I had been wearing out Colter’s records and was ready to see if this was a living breathing mortal. I was almost afraid to hear the man live and it not chalk up to the studio, but I found a deeply rich voice that immediately stole away any doubt and put a smile on my soul. In person I found Colter to be a humble, kind, and an overall genuine human who was curious to know where I was from and where I was going.

We spoke about Saskatchewan and the South and I just about blinded him with my Fuji Disposable Flash.

The rough B&W 35mm photographs below, were taking on Kodak Tri-X 400 during the evening’s set. First time I had ever shot film indoors without a flash. I remember pushing this roll a stop or two.
